Jim was so proud of his 'sexy'  Ferrari!  It bothers me that one cannot get records of its ultimate fate.  I recall Jim as brilliant and open to new ideas and input, but a firm manager.  If you disagreed with an idea, you had to back it up--(a true scientist).  I still recall the day I ran up the stairs with an apple in my mouth and nearly ran into John Dean.  He was quite gracious.  I recall that Jane Fonda and Barry Goldwater , Jr. were clients.  You had several  muscular Afghan men in the fcactory--Ahmed and co.  One can't forget Morgan and her asst.  Also the friendly receptionist (Amanda?) who had a crush on Pete!   Roland Daniel, my husband, worked on electronic designs for the solar control boxes. There was my boss Dean McCormick and then came Catalyst...

  • You look so young and beautiful there in your office! What year was that? Funny, no computer, IBM Selectric typewriter, ribbon tape calculator. How did we ever get anything done with those stone age tools??

    • The photo of you and Roland brings back memories. I remember installing the controllers in the Energy Centers at the Ventura del Sol project and Roland tutoring us on how to connect everything.
